Once again, I received top-notch service from the amazing technician Peter Holley, and the delightful Ellie-may Nolan at the front desk welcomed me with a friendly smile. Peter took care of replacing my glow plugs, and I really appreciate the wonderful service!

We walked into Vauxhall Basildon hoping to maybe buy a pre-owned Crossland X. Lewis Culham welcomed us with a friendly and professional attitude, and he wasn’t at all pushy. The service was great all the way through, and we had a speedy turnaround that let us pick up the car in no time. We're really happy with both the vehicle and the service we got.

I had a really awful experience after buying a new MG5 on December 30th. Just 17 days later, it broke down, and they kept the car for 28 days before we decided to reject it and get a full refund. Well, I say full refund, but we ended up losing £100 due to the gap insurance and a cosmetic policy we had taken out. We can deal with that loss, but I bet their costs will be way higher. The customer care department? Non-existent! It feels like once you pick a car and pay, you’re left to fend for yourself. We ended up getting a nice new Peugeot from a completely different dealership. The stress, the endless phone calls, and emails we had to deal with were just too much. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone, regardless of the car brand. Just a heads up!

As for their response, I’ll take it with a grain of salt. Sure, the car was faulty, but the real issue was the lack of communication from the customer relations team, which seems to be a recurring theme in all the negative reviews. I’ve got all your ridiculous emails saved, so don’t think you can fool anyone with your replies.

Oh, and you forgot to mention that I had to reach out to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, who I believe are still sending you a letter. I even had to consult a solicitor because your service was that bad! But I guess you overlooked that part, huh? Lol.

Toomey Renault Southend reached out to me last week to see if I was interested in trading my car. I mentioned I’d prefer to sell it back since I’m on a PCP plan. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem as I’m in a good spot with positive equity. I mentioned I was checking out a car over the weekend and would get in touch on Tuesday if it looked good. They said that was all good! However, I tried to call and email on Tuesday, and then sent another email on Wednesday, but I’ve been left hanging ever since!

Mr. Jason Dossett really made me feel at home, offering me a cup of coffee or tea, which I thought was a lovely gesture. He was super helpful and clearly knows his stuff, answering all my questions and showing great knowledge about the car I was purchasing. I’d surely return to Toomys down the line.

Today, I picked up my new ride from Toomey Basildon, thanks to the mobility expert, Lewis Culham. It's been a rough few years for both buyers and sellers. Lewis provided outstanding service, keeping us updated every step of the way. This morning, he really went the extra mile, showing us all the car's features. Lewis was super polite and really knowledgeable.

Right from the beginning, the service was top-notch! Mark Mooney really went the extra mile to ensure I got the vehicle I desired at a fantastic price. Sure, the electric car took a bit longer to get here, but that was beyond their control, and they kept me in the loop with updates. When the car finally showed up, Mark made sure I was satisfied and well-acquainted with all the safety features and other details. I drove off grinning ear to ear, and based on this experience, I wouldn't hesitate to come back for another buy.

Shavi was our server and she was super attentive and patient. She really made the whole process of getting a new car a blast!

I brought my Qasqai over to Toomey Southend for its MOT and service.

On January 22nd, we made our way to the Southend Nissan dealership and were welcomed by a wonderful lady named Ronni Wilcox. She was busy with another customer at the time but assured us she’d be with us soon. Ronni was fantastic—super friendly and nothing seemed to be too much hassle for her. I felt really at ease, and her warm demeanor made all the difference. She answered all our questions and helped us choose the perfect family car. Thanks a ton, you were just lovely! I’d totally recommend this place!

On Friday, January 6th, we headed over to Citroen Toomey in Southend to check out some cars. Dominic Corkett greeted us and was super helpful; nothing seemed to be too much for him. He addressed all our queries in a professional manner and didn’t rush us at all.
We ended up choosing a C3 and took it for a test drive that very day. After that, we made the decision to purchase it, and Dominic handled the sale without a hitch, making it all quick and easy. Plus, he even offered us a coffee, which made us feel right at home.
We just want to say that he’s a really friendly and trustworthy guy to deal with. We picked up our new ride on January 11, 2023, and we’re thrilled with our purchase.

I took my car in to check out a heated seat that wasn't working, all covered by warranty. It took six weeks just to get an appointment. They didn’t have a loaner car, but I was told they’d run diagnostics that day and then schedule the actual repairs later. I dropped my car off at 8 AM, and after waiting eight hours, I was told they were 'too busy' with other jobs. Apparently, they only had three engineers, and two were out sick. They expected me to leave my car there until they could 'get around' to it in the next few days. Just really disappointing service.

Awesome Team, Traded in our Nissan for a newer model. Spent the day searching for cars at four different dealerships, and these folks were the top choice.
